Who is responsible for making sure the pool is up to safety standards?

Live and Raw!

Hope this brought you some value!

P.S. Please excuse the sun burn

It is the buyers responsibility to make sure the pool is up to current safety standard by getting a pool safety inspection within the specific time frame set in the contract and if there is anything to be done to bring it up to current pool safety standards, it will be at the buyers cost to do so within 90 days of being issued with the notice of non compliance.

Buyers if you are purchasing a property with a pool, make sure you ask if there is a pool safety certificate in place before putting in an offer, that way you can either negotiate with the seller to get the certificate ahead of purchasing the property or work the possible costs into your offer.
